Safer Neighbourhoods Police Teams
The Safer Neighbourhood initiative involves residents working with police to identify and tackle crime and safety concerns in their local area. The TNRA Safer Neighbourhood ward is Chaucer, see here.
TNRA representatives meet with our local police every two months at the Chaucer Ward Safer Neighbourhood Panel and discuss current policing issues. If there is any issue that you would like us to raise at the next meeting, please e-mail email@example.com.
The police are only able to respond to crimes that are notified to them. So please ensure that you report all crimes to the local police:
- Ring 999 to report emergencies, when something is happening right now, requiring an immediate police response
- Ring 101 to report non-emergencies
- Report online at: www.met.police.uk/a/your-area/met/southwark/chaucer/
Please also e-mail TNRA at firstname.lastname@example.org with the date of any crime and, critically, your crime/incident number. This information will remain private to TNRA and will only be shared with the police and councillors to support our case for action to be taken.
If you have concerns for someone sleeping rough, ring 0300 500 0914 or send an alert to www.streetlink.org.uk
