Concerts

From time to time, we have been able to use the splendid venue of Henry Wood Hall for concerts. These have included Abendlieder (our first concert in 1998), excerpts from The Messiah, operatic songs, a jazz evening, a trumpet recital and, in 2007, a wind quintet. We thank Henry Wood Hall management for the use of the hall on all these occasions.

In October 2007, residents gathered in Henry Wood Hall

to enjoy a concert of lively music by the Vivo Wind Quintet

and afterwards repaired to the crypt for wine and cheese.
