Safer Neighbourhoods involves local people working with local police to identify and tackle crime and safety concerns in their neighbourhood. Reducing crime and anti-social behaviour are the main objectives of Safer Neighbourhoods activity; additional local community objectives are set through ward panels.
The Safer Neighbourhood police teams are permanent, they have been established to respond to changes in crime and disorder in their particular ward.
The TNRA Safer Neighbourhood ward is Chaucer. Information on the Chaucer ward Safer Neighbourhood police team can be found by clicking here.
