In spite of a worrying weather forecast, Sunday 10 June turned out to be a fine day for our event, as part of London's Open Garden Squares Weekend. Lots of residents and visitors came to Merrick Square to enjoy food, drink, stalls and entertainment. Thanks to all who took part and helped to make the day a social and financial success, especially Frank for beer from the Royal Oak and Richard for dispensing it, Jenny and Simon for tasty chorizo baps and refreshing Pimm's, the strong men of Merrick Square for putting up and taking down gazebos, Snezana for face painting and Kitsch in Sync and John Constable for entertaining us. See below for some of the afternoon's activities and attractions.
