Monday 23 October in Henry Wood Hall, Trinity Church Square from 7.30 pm

with Judith Miller and Mark Hill from the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow.

Bring along family heirlooms, household treasures and car boot bargains for inspection, free advice and valuation.

Judith and Mark will give a brief introductory talk and then discuss the pieces that people have brought.

No booking is required - just turn up. Please come at 7 pm if you are bringing items.

Entry is free and refreshments will be served.

Judith MillerJudith Miller began collecting in the 1960s while a student at Edinburgh University in Scotland. She has since extended and reinforced her knowledge of antiques through international research, becoming one of the world's leading experts in the field. In 1979 she co-founded Miller's Antiques Price Guide and has since written more than 100 books. She is an expert on the BBC's 'The Antiques Roadshow' and co-hosts the popular BBC TV series 'The House Detectives', ITV's 'Antiques Trail', and Discovery's 'It's Your Bid'. She is a regular contributor to numerous newspapers and magazines, such as the Financial Times and House & Garden, and has lectured extensively.

Mark HillMark Hill is an expert on the BBC Antiques Roadshow and has appeared on the BBC 20th Century Roadshow and Priceless Antiques Roadshow. He was also co-presenter of BBC Two's landmark primetime antiques and interior design shows Collectaholics, Cracking Antiques and Antiques Uncovered. He is the co-author of the bi-annual international Miller's Collectables Price Guides, writes regular columns for The Daily Mail and has researched written and published 10 ground-breaking books on antiques, 20thC design and collecting.
