Refuse collections on the estate

Weekly collections are on Tuesdays for most of the estate, but on Mondays in Falmouth Road. Wheelie bins and bagged rubbish only.

Doorstep recycling

Collections from doorsteps on the estate on Fridays to recycle:

  • cardboard (folded) in blue bags;
  • Drinks cans, food tins, plastic bottles in blue boxes
  • Glass jars and bottles in blue boxes

and on alternate Fridays:

  • Garden waste in brown paper bags.

Contact Southwark Council or TNRA for leaflets, calendars, bags and boxes. Brown paper bags are also available from John Harvard Library in Borough High Street.

Community skip

Delivered to Trinity Street (opposite no 25) on the first weekend of every month. Provided free by Southwark Council at TNRA's request. Use for items too large for the ordinary refuse collection.

Recycle your stamps

Recycle used stamps for Royal National Institute for the Blind
Tear them off the envelopes, leaving about 1cm round the stamp
Sort into British and Overseas
Send to: RNIB Stamp Recycling, PO Box 185, BENFLEET, SS7 9BH
