TNRA Trips

Visit to Chapel Down Winery, Tenterden Vineyard, Kent (www.englishwinesgroup.com) on Sunday 14 October 2007

We set off from Trinity Church Square by coach and arrived at the vineyard in time for coffee, which some enjoyed outside on the terrace in the autumn sun.


Refreshed, we set off on a tour to see the vineyard and the winemaking process.


After that, we got down to the serious business of wine tasting.


We then enjoyed an excellent lunch from the carvery and spent the afternoon visiting the herb garden, going down the road to Small Hythe Place or just sitting about drinking more wine.
